This past weekend Grand Canyon University hosted the first-ever Valley of the Sun Inter-College 48 Hour Film Challenge. Two teams from UAT (including a distance-student team based in Texas) competed head-to-head against three teams from GCU and the "Best Film" statuette was taken home by the UAT Digital Video team!
The parameters for the competition:
Genre - mystery
Prop - washing machine
Line - "All I know is, that doesn't go in there."
And we were also required to include a character - "Nardo, the professional marble player."
